Truemed partners with merchants and brands to enable qualified customers to use HSA/FSA funds on qualified products and services that are used to treat, mitigate, or prevent a diagnosed medical condition. Truemed partners with a network of individual practitioners who evaluate customers’ eligibility and issue Letters of Medical Necessity to qualifying customers, thereby saving customers money on legitimate medical expenditures.
Important to know:
Some items, including mattresses, may only be partially eligible for HSA/FSA funds. In these cases, you can split the purchase between your HSA/FSA card and a personal credit card.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Add to cart
Add your Helix mattress to your shopping cart and begin checkout.
Step 2: Choose “Pay with HSA/FSA”
Enter your email, shipping information, and phone number.
Review your order details to make sure everything looks correct.
Under Payment, select Truemed – Pay with HSA/FSA. This option will appear at the bottom of the payment methods list.
Step 3: Take a quick health survey
Click Pay Now to be directed to Truemed’s dashboard.
Complete a short online health survey to generate your Letter of Medical Necessity.
Eligibility is usually determined within 24–48 hours, but you can complete your purchase right away.
If you don’t see your letter in your inbox after 48 hours, check your spam folder first, then contact Truemed support at support@truemed.com.
Step 4: Complete your payment

After the survey, you’ll return to the checkout page. You can either:
Pay in full with your HSA/FSA card, or
Pay with your personal credit card and submit your purchase (along with your Letter of Medical Necessity) to Truemed for HSA/FSA reimbursement.
